Hybrid revolutions are a feat which appear as often as the aurora lights down under, from the commercialisation of previously underground genres such as hip hop in the 90's and dance in the 80's. Nemesis heralds a significant new direction in tomorrow's music.
Taking influence from the likes of stadium rock gods such as Queen and Led Zeppelin as well as dance contemporaries Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Pendulum, Chicane and Pet Shop Boys, Nemesis seek to fuse their core elements with dance heavyweights such as the Prodigy and the insanely crowd rocking Faithless.
Nemesis could be the cross over success that so many dance music lovers have craved....organic live dance music.
Lyrically brash, musically monumental, Nemesis blends the concept of the symphony, the delicacy of poetry, finely balanced with infectious hooks and raw energy.
Imagine a vocalist with the raw energy and power of Bruce Dickinson and the tone of Steve Winwood/Peter Cox, with backing from Pendulum, Nero, Tiesto, Chicane with an 80's Rock vibe, and you're somewhere close.
Nemesis remains ever focused and hell bent on bringing their very own flavour and edge to the international dance scene. They constantly look to fuse the more intricate and perhaps interesting musical elements that exist in such genres of Dubstep, Drum n Bass, Trance and other world dance sub-genres, as they aim to throw it all into the melting pot to create something new. For these guys its all about pushing musical boundaries.
